My journey has always been guided by a simple belief: that opportunity can transform lives.
As a young entrepreneur, I saw firsthand how many talented and hardworking Kenyans were held back—not by a lack of ambition, but by a lack of access. Access to capital. Access to markets. Access to opportunities.
That realization shaped my life’s work.
Over the years, I have dedicated myself to building businesses that solve real problems, create jobs, and expand economic opportunity. Through every challenge and every success, I have come to appreciate that sustainable development is driven not by promises, but by enterprise, innovation, and the empowerment of people.
The Innovator
Technology has become one of the most powerful forces for economic inclusion in our generation.
As the Founder and Group CEO of Lipa Later, I had the privilege of helping build one of Africa’s pioneering digital finance and Buy-Now-Pay-Later platforms. Together with a remarkable team, we developed financial solutions that enabled thousands of businesses and consumers to access credit, grow their enterprises, and participate more fully in the economy.
Under my leadership, the company grew into a regional leader in embedded finance, building a portfolio exceeding USD 100 million and demonstrating how African innovation can address African challenges.
That experience reinforced my conviction that when technology is combined with purpose, it becomes a powerful tool for transforming lives and expanding opportunity.
The Builder
Building institutions is one of the most rewarding responsibilities of leadership.
Today, as Founder and Managing Director of MRE Real Estate Limited, I am focused on developing the infrastructure that supports enterprise, investment, and economic growth. Through retail, commercial, and workspace developments across Kenya, we are helping create environments where businesses can thrive and communities can prosper.
Since its founding, MRE has grown rapidly, establishing developments across the country and building a growing portfolio valued at approximately $50,000,000.
What inspires me most is not the buildings themselves, but the opportunities they create: jobs for young people, markets for entrepreneurs, and investments that strengthen local economies.
Every successful project has reinforced my belief that development is ultimately about improving lives.
The Employer
One of the greatest privileges of leadership is creating opportunities for others.
Across the businesses I have founded and led—including Alpha Force Securities and other ventures—I have witnessed the transformative impact that meaningful employment can have on individuals, families, and communities.

These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the challenges facing entrepreneurs, workers, and young people across our country. They have also strengthened my commitment to championing policies that encourage enterprise, investment, and job creation.
The Machakos Dream
Machakos is where my story begins.
The values that have guided my life—hard work, resilience, integrity, faith, and service—were shaped by the people and communities of this great county. Like many young people from Machakos, I grew up believing that with determination, education, and opportunity, there should be no limit to what one can achieve.
My journey has taken me through entrepreneurship, technology, finance, and investment. I have had the privilege of building businesses, creating jobs, attracting capital, and working alongside talented people across Kenya and beyond. Yet throughout that journey, Machakos has always remained home.
What inspires me most about our county is its immense potential.
We are home to one of Kenya’s youngest and most entrepreneurial populations. We occupy a strategic position at the gateway to Nairobi and regional markets. Our people are hardworking, ambitious, and innovative. From our farmers and traders to our professionals, artisans, and business owners, Machakos possesses every ingredient necessary to become one of Kenya’s leading centres of enterprise and investment.
I believe the next chapter of Machakos should belong to a generation that is ready to think bigger, build faster, and compete globally while remaining grounded in the values that define us.
My vision is for a Machakos where young people can find opportunity without leaving home, where entrepreneurs can access markets and capital, where technology drives growth, and where public leadership is measured by results rather than rhetoric.
The Machakos dream is not simply about economic growth. It is about creating a county where every child can aspire, every entrepreneur can build, every family can prosper, and every citizen can believe that their future is brighter than their past.
The Senator
The Senate occupies a unique and important place in Kenya’s constitutional order. It is the guardian of devolution, the defender of county interests, and a critical institution for accountability and national cohesion.
I believe Machakos deserves leadership that combines vision with execution; leadership that understands both the opportunities of the private sector and the responsibilities of public service.
My experience building businesses, managing institutions, attracting investment, and creating jobs has prepared me to contribute meaningfully to that mission.
As Senator, I will champion accountable governance, protect the resources allocated to Machakos, strengthen oversight, and advocate for policies that promote economic empowerment, investment, innovation, and opportunity.
I will work to ensure that every shilling allocated to our county delivers value to residents and that devolution fulfils its promise of bringing development closer to the people.
Most importantly, I will be a strong voice for Machakos—a voice that is constructive, forward-looking, and focused on results.
The Family Man
Behind every achievement and every challenge has been the support of family. Being a father is one of my most rewarding responsibilities, and being Njeri’s husband is an immeasurable blessing.
Family teaches us responsibility, humility, faith, and service. It reminds us that leadership is ultimately about people and about the future we leave for the next generation.
Those values continue to guide my decisions and strengthen my commitment to building stronger communities and a better future for our children.
